Hello Again!

 {pinwheels a friend gave me... aren't they pretty!}

I don't even know if anyone checks on this blog anymore!

Over Christmas and New Years I fell off the face of the blog world :)
Sometimes it is good to take time off, but I sure do miss all the craftiness!!!

Some of you have asked if I was back to sewing and the answer is yes... but slowly.
So if you have a project for me just ask!

I started this blog in hopes to help raise money for our adoption and I thought I would give an update on where we stand in the whole process.... and it is a PROCESS!!!

We had the hardest time getting Geoffrey's fingerprints back for approval of our homestudy.  We waited almost 7 months and ended up having to resubmit them again.  Finally, they were approved and our sweet social worker finished our homestudy the day before Christmas Eve!  What a wonderful Christmas present.

Now it is a waiting game.  We are just praying that God would provide our child in His timing... but that waiting is the hardest part!

Please feel free to check up on us and the whole process on our FAMILY BLOG... we love visitors and encouraging comments!  (especially from those who have been in our shoes!)

So to begin the New Year for this blog... I am working on a list of tutorials that I am going to post.

If you have any requests, even on small how's please email me and leave me a comment!
I know there are things that I am still learning, so it may be a learning process for me too :)
